A call for proposals to support different initiatives that will be happening under the British Council’s Women in Science regional programme in the Americas was launched on October 2. There are three (3) distinct categories of services, as follows: 

1.Consultancy services to deliver a comparative research for Women and Girls in STEM in Latin American countries (Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Colombia and Chile) 

2.Consulting services by Gender and Social Inclusion experts to support in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of specific initiatives in Mexico, Peru and Brazil, under the regional Women in Science programme 

3.Design and implementation of Mentoring Scheme in Mexico for girls in remote areas of the country, in collaboration with Mexico-based institutions and UK universities 

Interested institutions can apply individually or for the three activities requested. The deadline for submitting proposals is October 20.
