Professor Barry O’Sullivan OBE

Head of Assessment Research & Development, Assessment Research Group, British Council

He has undertaken research across many areas of language testing and assessment. He has worked on the development and refinement of the socio-cognitive model of test development and validation since 2000. He regularly speaks at international conferences and has over 100 publications. He is the founding president of the UK Association of Language Testing and Assessment.

Dr Evelina D. Galaczi

Director, Research, Cambridge English

Evelina is a language learning and assessment scholar and is currently the Director of English Research at Cambridge University Press and Assessment. She has worked in English language education for over 30 years, starting in her native Bulgaria, followed by the USA and currently in the United Kingdom. She leads a fantastic team of language learning, teaching and assessment experts who enable the Cambridge vision to deliver a product for millions of learners and test-takers globally. 

Dr Gladys Quevedo-Camargo

Associate professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, University of Brasília, Brazil

Gladys Quevedo-Camargo holds a PhD in Language Studies and is an associate professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, University of Brasília, Brazil. She is a co-founder and board member of LAALTA – Latin American Association for Language Testing and Assessment and a member of ILTA – International Language Testing Association and BrazTesol Assessment Special Interest Group.
