Moray House School of Education and Sport (MHSES), University of Edinburgh, has been making a major contribution and impact to the field of education both in Scotland and worldwide for almost 200 years. Language education is one of the focal areas of interest in the School: we have a specific institute, the Institute of Language Education, and a research hub, Language, Interculturality and Literacies, whose work advances the field internationally. Throughout its existence, MHSES staff, students and alumni have influenced and transformed learning, teaching, research and wider educational policy in the UK and beyond.

The School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia offers an innovative research-informed and professionally oriented TESOL Master’s aimed at upskilling current/future practitioners. Located in the charming and historic UK city of Norwich, the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia has a long history of research and teaching in the field of English language teaching. The School conducts internationally relevant research (cf. the latest UK-wide Research Excellence Framework – REF) and is home to UNESCO Chair in Adult Literacy and Learning for Social Transformation.
